About Me
Dr. Weedny André is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in marriage, family, and individual therapy. He holds a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, along with a Master of Science in Counseling from Barry University, specializing in mental health and couple/marital therapy. Dr. André is fluent in five languages—English, French, Portuguese, Creole, and moderate Spanish—allowing him to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. He is licensed as a mental health counselor in Florida and a professional counselor in New Jersey and also serves as a qualified supervisor for MHC and MFT interns in Florida.
With a rich professional background, Dr. André provides mental health services to inmates through Corrections Health Services and teaches as an assistant professor at Northcentral University. As the owner and director of Bamboo Counseling Services, LLC, he offers individual, couples, and family therapy while also supervising registered interns and providing workshops and training. Throughout his career, Dr. André has remained committed to fostering emotional well-being and helping individuals and families achieve their mental health goals.
